We hosted the 23rd Annual Wild Game Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, January 16, 2014 in downtown Richmond at the beginning of the General Assembly session. Thank you to all of the cooks, judges, and volunteers who made this year’s event a success, including our Wild Game Voting Official and Secretary of Administration Nancy Rodrigues. We appreciate Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam, Senator Tommy Norment, Delegate Mark Keam, Senator Frank Wagner, Delegate Bill DeSteph, and many other members of the General Assembly for stopping by. Spiciest: Wayne “Bubba” Ozmore with the hottest chili in Virginia (venison)
Best Presentation: Randy Bush (venison, quail, pheasant, and wild turkey)
